THE VILLAGES TUBA CHRISTMAS

A Tuba Christmas concert is a festive, large-scale holiday performance featuring an ensemble of low brass instruments—primarily tubas, euphoniums, baritones, and sousaphones—playing classic Christmas carols. Founded in 1974 by Harvey Phillips at Rockefeller Center in New York City to honor his teacher and mentor, the legendary tubist William J. Bell, the event has grown into an annual global tradition hosted in over 300 cities.
